Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data NORBEON ("we", "us") collects through norbeon.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and specific to how this website actually works.

1. Who we are

NORBEON provides AI data collection, data annotation and model evaluation services. We are based in India and work with AI teams worldwide. For any privacy question, email hello@norbeon.com.

2. What we collect

When you use our contact form: your name, work email, company, project type and the requirements you write in the message box.

When you register as a vendor: your company or team name, contact person, work email, phone number, city and country, team size, monthly capacity, data and work types, tools, languages, quality and security practices, typical rates and any links you share.

Usage and analytics data: the pages you visit, how you arrived (for example from a search engine or LinkedIn), your device and browser type, your approximate location (country or city), and how you scroll, click and move around our pages. See section 5.

For spam protection: your IP address is used to limit how many messages one connection can send. It is stored only as a one-way code and deleted automatically within one hour.

Technical data: like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to keep the site secure and working.

Please do not include sensitive personal data (such as health, financial or identity documents) in our forms.

3. How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry, understand your project and prepare a proposal.
  • To communicate with you about a project you start with us.
  • To understand how visitors find and use the website, and to improve it.
  • To protect the website from spam and misuse.
  • To review vendor registrations and contact vendors about suitable projects.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not add you to marketing lists without your consent.

4. Service providers

We use a small number of trusted providers to run this website. They process data on our behalf and under their own privacy and security terms:

  • Hostinger: website hosting and content delivery.
  • Brevo: sends the emails generated by our contact and vendor forms.
  • Zoho Mail: our business email, where enquiries and vendor registrations are received.
  • Google Analytics: website traffic and usage statistics.
  • Microsoft Clarity: heatmaps and session recordings that show how pages are used.
  • Google Fonts: loads the fonts used on this site. Your browser connects to Google's servers to download them.

Some of these providers may store or process data outside India. Where that happens, we rely on their contractual and security safeguards.

5. Analytics

We use two analytics tools to see which pages are useful, where visitors come from and where the site is hard to use. We do not use them for advertising, and we do not use them to identify individual visitors.

  • Google Analytics 4 (Google): counts visits, traffic sources, pages viewed and interactions such as link clicks. Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses. Read Google's Privacy Policy, or block it with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
  • Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft): records how visitors interact with our pages, such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, and turns this into heatmaps and session replays. Text typed into form fields is masked and not recorded. Read the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Your choice: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity only set cookies after you click Accept in our cookie banner. If you click Reject, they do not set cookies and may only receive limited, cookieless usage data. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of the page.

6. Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising cookies. We use:

  • Analytics cookies: Google Analytics sets _ga and _ga_* (up to 2 years), and Microsoft Clarity sets _clck (up to 1 year) and _clsk (1 day). They are set only if you click Accept, and they tell a returning visit apart from a new one. They do not contain your name or email.
  • Your cookie choice: saved in your browser's local storage for 6 months, so we do not ask on every visit.
  • Theme preference: the website remembers whether you chose the dark or light theme by saving that choice in your browser's local storage. It contains no personal data.

You can block or delete cookies and local storage at any time from your browser settings. The website will still work.

7. How long we keep data

We keep enquiry details only for as long as we need them to respond to you, manage a working relationship, or meet legal and accounting obligations. After that, we delete them. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.

Vendor registrations are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, so we can reach out when a suitable project comes in. You can ask us to update or delete your registration at any time by emailing vendors@norbeon.com.

Analytics data is kept for a limited period: 14 months in Google Analytics, and for the standard retention period set by Microsoft in Clarity. After that it is deleted automatically.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, where it applies, the EU/UK GDPR, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
  • correct or update it;
  • delete it;
  • stop using it, or withdraw consent you have given.

Email hello@norbeon.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may also contact your local data protection authority.

9. Security

We use HTTPS across the site, restrict access to enquiries and vendor registrations to our team, and use spam protection on our forms. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.

10. Children

This website and our services are intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
